All Things Are Yours
1 Corinthians 3:21, “Wherefore, let no man glory in men for all things are yours; whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours.” He has unveiled to you your rights and privileges in Christ.
Psalm 23:1-3, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” That word, Lord, is Jehovah; and Jehovah is a word of three tenses-past, present, and future. It is Jesus, as Son, in Hebrews 13:8. It is the Jesus of today, the Jesus of yesterday, and the Jesus of tomorrow; and that Jesus is my Shepherd, my Caretaker, my Protector, my Burden Bearer, and my Lover. Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me; and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
He loved me and gave Himself up for me so now it is no longer I that live, but this New Life of Christ is making me a branch of the Vine.
Praying for faith is an absurdity when you have all things when you are a very son of God. What would you have thought of Jesus’ asking the Father to increase His faith? No, beloved, now are we the very sons of God.
